Helen Snow, FAAM, CMI
Helen works at two locations in Scottsdale, Arizona. She has her own studio in the heart of downtown Scottsdale and is on staff with Dr. John Gibney, F.A.C.S., M.B.A. at Thompson Peak Parkway in north Scottsdale. Call 480.990.3600.
Helen began her career in permanent makeup in 1991 and is a highly regarded veteran in the industry. She is a founding member of the Permanent Makeup Society of Arizona, and a member of the American Academy of Micropigmentation (AAM). Helen was one of the first to take the board examination given by the AAM receiving the title, FAAM and recently took the exam and received her certification as a CMI (Certified Micropigmentation Instructor). In 2004 she received a lifetime achievement award from the AAM relating to her knowledge of pigments and numbing agents. Helen is technical adviser to Forever Natural Permanent Cosmetics and Superior Tattoo, a leading supplier of products. She is often asked to give advanced instruction at seminars and trade events. Helen has held an active tattoo license in Hawaii since 1996. She specializes in teaching with the Harmonix Digital machine, the coil machine and the Dixon Slope technique.
